FAQ

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY INITIAL CONSULTATION?

When you book a consultation, I'll be in touch via email with a form for you to complete as well as a 3-day sleep diary. This will ask you lots of questions about your current situation, your preferences and what you want to achieve. Other than that, just come along as you are - babies and children always welcome!

DO YOU OFFER REMOTE CONSULTATIONS?

Yes! We can easily carry out remote consultations using video call and email. I work with people around the world, so we can also find a time that suits you.

HOW CAN I START WORKING WITH YOU?

A great way to get the ball rolling is with a free intro call. This 15-minute chat gives you the chance to ask questions, share a bit about your situation, and make sure I’m the right fit for the kind of support you’re looking for — no pressure, no obligation.

WILL YOU ASK ME TO LEAVE MY BABY TO CRY?

No! I will never ask you to do anything you don't want to do. The strategies I work with are attachment based and responsive, so although I can't promise that your baby will never cry (as babies do sometimes protest change), I will guide you in how to stay present and supportive, so you can comfort and stay connected through the process. I trust you, as the expert on your baby to know what feels right for you and your family.

WHAT TRAINING HAVE YOU HAD?

I am a Certified Holistic Sleep Coach (OCN Level 6) and trained through Lyndsey Hookway's Holistic Sleep Coaching Program. This program is 16 in-depth, evidence-based modules, led by industry experts and is the highest level of training in the UK.

I've also worked as

  • Sleep Room Leader for Dr Becky's Good Inside Community, supporting hundreds of families since 2022.

  • A one-to-one sleep coach in Kaitlin Klimmer's expert team

  • Sleep Expert for Dr Bell's in Leith since 2021, working with groups of parents to guide them through sleep challenges

I also have a code of conduct that ensures to prioritise responsive parenting, attachment, family-centred care, and not recommending leaving a child to cry alone.

WHAT AGES DO YOU WORK WITH?

I support families with babies, toddlers, and young children — typically from birth up to around six years old. Whether you’re dealing with newborn sleep shaping, toddler resistance, or preschool sleep regressions, I tailor my approach to your child’s age, temperament, and developmental stage.

WHAT MAKES YOUR APPROACH DIFFERENT FROM OTHER SLEEP COACHES?

I specialise in working with sensitive or spirited children, where standard sleep training often doesn’t work or doesn’t feel right. My approach is deeply personalised, taking into account your child’s temperament, your family values, and your emotional needs — not just handing you a generic schedule or expecting a one-size-fits-all solution.
