I’m Steph — Your Gentle Sleep Coach

Hi, I’m Steph — mum of 2 and a certified holistic sleep coach (OCN Level 6) based in Edinburgh. As a parent to a highly sensitive child and a baby with complex medical needs, I know firsthand how exhausting and overwhelming sleep struggles can be. My own experience is what led me on the journey to find a different kind of sleep support — one that felt gentler, more aligned with my parenting values, and nothing like the rigid advice I kept finding online.

And if you’ve landed here, chances are you’re exhausted too. Maybe you have a little one who struggles with bedtime, wakes frequently at night, resists naps, or wakes way too early in the morning — or maybe you’re dealing with all of the above. You’re not alone. And most importantly: things can get better.

I specialise in gentle, attachment-based sleep coaching for families of sensitive, spirited, or “orchid” babies and children — those little ones who are especially tuned in, easily overwhelmed, or have big feelings and big needs. My approach is holistic, meaning I look at the whole picture: your child’s temperament, nervous system, sleep biology, and your parenting style.

 

What I Offer

One-to-one tailored sleep support
Through personalised consultations, intake forms, and sleep diaries, I provide you with clear, step-by-step guidance, gentle strategies, and ongoing support — always aligned with your parenting values and always responsive and evidence-based.


I never recommend leaving your child to cry alone, and I focus on building connection, trust, and co-regulation while improving sleep.

 

Support for families locally and worldwide
I work with families in Edinburgh and East Lothian, across the UK, and internationally, offering online and in-person support to meet your unique needs.

 

Specialist help for sensitive and orchid children
If your child has been labeled “high needs,” “intense,” or “difficult to settle,” you are in the right place. I understand the extra layers that come with parenting sensitive kids, and my strategies reflect that.
